In case you didn’t know… Prior to AEW’s debut show Double or Nothing on the 25th of May at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, The Young Bucks made their debut for Mexican promotion Lucha Libre AAA at the Rey de Reyes event. At the show, The Bucks challenged and eventually won the AAA Tag Team Championships from the duo of Rey Fenix and Pentagon Jr. At Double or Nothing, The Bucks marked their first successful defense of the AAA Tag Team Championships, as they retained the titles in a hard-fought win over The Lucha Brothers....

Andrade’s assistant, Jose the Assistant, recently took to Twitter to send a message to a man Andrade has offered a place to in his faction, former TNT Champion Darby Allin. Jose has claimed that Darby “WILL SIGN THE CONTRACT” as him and Andrade plan to hold talks with Darby’s mentor and tag team partner, Sting. On recent episodes of Dynamite, we have seen Andrade express his appreciation for Darby Allin and offer him a place in the AHFO, but Darby still has not warmed up to that idea....

During Episode 414 of the Jim Cornette Experience, Cornette frustratingly berated All Elite Wrestling for ending the feud between Page and Danielson quickly. Cornette is not a fan of Adam Page as world champion as he stated later in the same podcast. However, he went on to note how deeply he enjoyed the first two matches and sounded legitimately angry about there not being a third match in the feud....

Now, Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio has reported that AEW has some interesting plans for Sting going forward. AEW wants to use the former WCW World Champion as a regular character on TV, and not as someone who would make occasional appearances. Meltzer also added that AEW sees Sting as a star from the old generation of TNT whose usage on a regular basis could result in good numbers for the promotion....

The AEW fans are continuing to argue about video games using their signs. The latest episode of AEW Rampage, which featured the long-awaited return of CM Punk to the world of professional wrestling, had a couple of different signs about video games. One that was fairly prominent was a sign complaining Dragon Warriors Monsters is better than Pokemon. Another, spotted just behind CM Punk’s head throughout part of his return promo, claimed that Trails of Cold Steel is better than Final Fantasy 7....

Austin’s Broken Skull Sessions podcast will play host to the veteran wrestler after the conclusion of the second night of WrestleMania 37 on Sunday, giving fans some time to really up their anticipation levels before the big return. Austin says the guest spot is the result of Jericho himself reaching out after enjoying a recent episode of the podcast, and the two were quick to set up their own interview....

Punk – real name Phil Brooks – won the title in the main event of the All Out pay-per-view in his hometown of Chicago, but what ensued in the hours following the show has changed the complexion of the company. In a press conference after the event ended, Punk went on a lengthy tirade regarding former friend Colt Cabana [Scott Colton] and their real-life legal issues, which stemmed from a lawsuit involving WWE back in 2015....

As of right now, the AEW video game is both officially confirmed and yet unannounced. Cody’s update, unfortunately, doesn’t change that status quo. In a question and answer session with Bleacher Report, Cody focuses more on what he describes as honesty rather than hinting or teasing the game anymore. He says, “the AEW video game will be something all fans know about as we begin the process and as we move forward....

AEW has released a new video for its upcoming console game that primarily focuses on Kris Statlander and her character model. The video also gives fans a look at Nyla Rose as she will appear in the game, as she is the one who Statlander is performing her moves on. The video is fairly short, and while some fans may have been hoping for a bigger reveal, a recent report from a reliable insider may clue them in on the more of the game’s roster....

There is no greater example of the effect of time relative to Full Gear than the scheduled battle between Kenny Omega and Adam Page for the AEW World Championship. Recently, BUILD Series’ Matt Forte interviewed a couple of stars from AEW which included the likes of Jon Moxley, inaugural and current AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, Jungle Boy, Nyla Rose, and Awesome Kong. Awesome Kong is now famous for portraying the character of a female wrestler in the critically acclaimed comedy series GLOW, a plot which revolves around the fictional characters of a women’s professional wrestling promotion set in the 1980s....

Punk and Kingston set up their match at Full Gear 2021 with a promo segment that was met with critical acclaim. Jim Cornette was a big fan of the segment involving Kingston and Punk, saying that watching it brought a smile to his face. Cornette praised both wrestlers for their part in the segment and how they played off the history between them to really give fans something to sink their teeth into:...
