AEW has released a new video for its upcoming console game that primarily focuses on Kris Statlander and her character model. The video also gives fans a look at Nyla Rose as she will appear in the game, as she is the one who Statlander is performing her moves on. The video is fairly short, and while some fans may have been hoping for a bigger reveal, a recent report from a reliable insider may clue them in on the more of the game’s roster.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select has recently published a report on the AEW console game, believed to be titled AEW Fight Forever. In the report, Sapp claims that the AEW video game will have a total of 50 wrestlers or so when it launches. So far, the AEW video game has only confirmed a handful of wrestlers for its roster, but Sapp’s report may pull the curtain back on some of the other stars that will be featured in the game.
According to the report, the AEW video game roster will also include the likes of Adam Cole, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Ruby Soho, and Sting. None of these wrestlers are particularly surprising, as they are all some of the company’s biggest stars. It seems fans can expect the AEW video game roster to feature most of the company’s most recognizable stars, though there will likely be one major omission.
It seems as though Cody Rhodes will not be on the AEW video game roster, which is a shame when one considers the pivotal role he played in the company’s formation and how heavily he was featured during its early years. Rhodes was the first-ever AEW TNT Champion, and he was also part of some of the company’s most high-profile feuds and matches. However, he has since jumped ship to WWE, and so it’s really not all that surprising that he will likely be left off the AEW game roster.
There are also reports indicating that the AEW video game may be having some troubles behind the scenes, with Kenny Omega reportedly “butting heads” with developer Yuke’s, according to SportsGamersOnline. Needless to say, it will be interesting to see how the final product turns out whenever it finally launches.
AEW Fight Forever is in development.
