More details on Tony Schiavone signing with AEW
As reported earlier today, via Wrestling Observer Radio, legendary WCW announcer Tony Schiavone has allegedly signed with All Elite Wrestling.
According to PWInsider.com, who corroborated the Observer Radio report, in addition to AEW, Schiavone had been entertaining offers from WWE up until last week, and on Thursday he made the final decision to sign with All Elite Wrestling.
As of this writing it remains unclear what role Schiavone will have with AEW, as the current announce team consists of Alex Marvez, Jim Ross and Excalibur.
Interestingly, Tony Schiavone remains under contract with Major League Wrestling, and reports indicate he will continue to serve as the lead announcer for MLW while working with AEW. In recent weeks, Schiavone has been appearing at the “Control Center” on “Road to All Out” videos, and MLW’s Court Bauer actually revealed recently that he had no idea Schiavone had been appearing in the AEW video series.
The PWInsider report notes that Schiavone will be appearing on the first AEW show on TNT, leaving unanswered questions regarding how his MLW contract will work in conjunction with his AEW deal.

The October 30th show will be taking place live from The Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia, and will feature Cody, Hangman Page, Chris Jericho, Jon Moxley and more.

As of this writing, matches for the TV tapings beyond the first taping have yet to be announced.

Taeler Hendrix teases possible AEW appearance
Wrestling veteran Taeler Hendrix might be the next talent revealed for the upcoming All Elite Wrestling TV roster, as she recently posted a photo of the AEW logo on Instagram, teasing an appearance with the company.
As of this writing, AEW has yet to make an official announcement regarding Hendrix’s status, but with the company set to feature a Women’s Casino Battle Royale match at All Out, it’s very possible Hendrix could be revealed as the next competitor in the match.
Names such as former WWE Tough Enough and Lucha Underground star Ivelisse, Nyla Rose, Jazz, Britt Baker, Allie and Brandi Rhodes have all been announced for the Battle Royale, with more names expected to be set.
The winner of the Casino Battle Royale will go on to compete in a match to determine the first-ever AEW Women’s Champion, and below is a promo video for the Battle Royale match.
As for Taeler Hendrix, she has worked in the past for Impact Wrestling and Ring of Honor, and appeared on WWE TV in the past as one of Adam Rose’s “Rosebuds.” Hendrix had a tryout with WWE back in 2015, but was not signed.
