In case you didn’t know…
All Elite Wrestling was officially announced on December 31st, 2018 during a special “Being the Elite” episode on YouTube, in addition to their first event and successor to “All In” appropriately called “Double or Nothing”.
Over a week later Cody Rhodes, along with AEW CEO and President Tony Khan and members of The Elite, held a very special “Double or Nothing!” rally to announce new signings such as Chris Jericho, PAC, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian, Scorpion Sky, MJF, Penelope, Britt Baker, “Hangman” Adam Page, The Young Bucks and Billy Gunn (as their producer).
The heart of the matter
On episode 80 of “Dinner with the King”, a weekly podcast hosted by Lawler alongside co-host Glenn Miller, he took the time to discuss his thoughts on AEW as well as the use of adult-oriented content in professional wrestling today.
